They love to eat algae and any other waste material they come across. You will receive healthy juvenile snails about 10mm to 20mm long. They will grow up to 60mm – making them the largest pond snails in Britain. They have a shiny yellowish brown shell with a tall, slender pointed spire. The snails are particularly hardy and tolerant of most water conditions and temperatures up to 28 degrees Celsius. If you’d like to treat them, they love lettuce! Please do research your other tank inhabitants to ensure compatibility as some larger fish, including goldfish, will eat snails. And do remember to carefully acclimatise these new snails.
