The pump boasts a reliable ‘eco’ motor and is cheap to run (only 95 watts). The pump has been designed to run 24/7 with little maintenance. The Pond Filter collects dirt and debris passed up to it via the pump. The dirt collects in the foams housed within the chamber of the filter. Periodic ‘Easy Cleaning’ can be achieved by switching the pump flow to ‘waste’. During this procedure the water flow switches its usual direction, backflushing the foams and pushing dirty water through the waste outlet.
